My style is a blend of creative photojournalism and portrait photography. Couples that book me are drawn to my unique editing style and candid, authentic storytelling.
I feel to truly tell your story, it's best to approach it in a documentary fashion, as it unfolds. I prefer natural, candid moments but will always throw in a few gently posed shots. My couples appreciate a little direction here and there, but for the most part I try to create a comfortable space where the two of you can focus on each other and be in the moment. Of course, I always make time for formal family photos!
Yes! I'm based in Portland Oregon, but I love any opportunity to hop on a plane to capture weddings and elopements. Share your wedding day vision with me, and I will create a custom quote for you!
I founded Hazelwood Photo in 2010 while living in CA. I moved my business to Portland, OR in 2012 to be closer to my family and have considered myself a PNW girl ever since.
On average, a typical 8 hour wedding yields anywhere from 500-800 images.
All your edited, high-resolution images are delivered by a digital download via your online photo gallery.
As a matter of fact I do! Some packages include wedding albums, but I also offer albums a' la carte as well.
Absolutely! You and your family can order prints directly through the gallery to be delivered to your doorstep. I provide a print release, so if you wish to order prints at your local lab you may.
Always! In case of equipment malfunction or some other unknown, backup equipment is always close at hand the day of your wedding.

I recommend booking your wedding about 1 year in advance especially for summer and fall dates (particularly those on Saturdays). These dates tend to book up quickly.
Yes, I am the main photographer and photograph all engagement sessions and act as the primary photographer for weddings and elopements unless otherwise agreed upon before booking.
If your guest list exceeds 200 or you are getting ready at different locations, you may want to think about adding a 2nd photographer. With that said, I am very comfortable shooting weddings solo. About 95% of my weddings are shot solo
My goal is to deliver completed wedding galleries 12-14 weeks after your wedding depending on the time of year.
Thank you so much! Well, the first step is to fill out my contact form. If your date is available, we will schedule a consultation either in person, via phone or Facetime to see if we are a good fit. To secure your date, a 50% retainer and a signed contract is required.
Yes! I edit every image with my custom filters to ensure quality and consistency.
